| Playa Butihondo beach | ||
| Butihondo beach is a beautiful beach semi urbanized, it has 1.500 x 45 metres of fine golden sand, windy beach, calm waters, low occupation, surrounded with big arid and rural mountains, far from population, flanked by two tourist urban developments placed in two platforms of cliffs that delimit the beach in both ends, every urban development has a pedestrian walk with stairs that goes down up to the beach, relies on restaurants, signalling, Local Police officer, position of the Red Cross, showers, cleanliness of beaches and wastebaskets. Tarajalejo beach belongs to the simple fishing village Tarajalejo on the southeast coast Fuerteventuras. Indeed the, about 1370 metres long, brown gravel beach cannot compete with the white dream beaches in the south, but above all in the southern part the surge is braked by some rocks that are on this beach. |

Playa Jandia is also known as Playa Sotavento beach. Playa Jandia has a longitud from 1100 metres and an average width from 30 metres. It is a beautiful beach with fine golden sand. The water is mostly calm, sometimes it can be windy, so a good place for windsurfing. In the year 2000, this is the beach that hostet the XV edition of the Windsurf World Cup. It has chiringuitos and restaurants. Not far from here is the Marina Morro Jable. You can rent here water crafts, beach umbrellas and hammocks. Playa Jandia has also the Blue Flag. |
