| The Municipality of Pajara, the biggest on the island of Fuerteventura, differs from others with his beautiful scenery that has led Pajara to bee included in the Catalogue of Protected Spaces. But his singularity is not only a nature, also Pajara emphasizes artistically his enigmatic church of Our Lady of the Regla. | |||

| This religious enclosure rose from only one single building in the XVIIth century, but after beeing turn on to a parish in 1711 (XVIIIth century) the local inhabitants constructed a second building in the right side or of the epistle. The best in the building that you will notice is his main face considered by some historians of the art as the most important work of the Canary architecture of the XVIIIth century. Outsider turns out to be the front that, though it supports a classic scheme in his composition with semicircular arch, pilasters cajeadas on plinths, capitals, entablamento with architrave, frieze and cornice, presents an enigmatic decorative program of clear Indian influence. |
